As for a fave file, geez, that's nearly impossible to narrow it down that much. Here's a few that I consider to be incredibly useful and go back to quite regularly:
N1kk1 F4t4|3 - Adaptive Unconscious (a truly brilliant piece of work, a tour de force in terms of skills, covers a lot of ground, sets up her primary trigger that she uses in most every other file she ever recorded so a must-have if you're going to focus on her content)
N1kk1 F4t4|3 - Rollercoaster (if you love fractionation this will leave you pretty well lost)
4n0nym1str3ss - Sleep Loop (it's the voice man, always the voice)
Lady Ru'etha - Eye Inducer Redux (the original unedited version from like 15 years ago, very hard to find but I'm still got it, it was the first audio file that dropped me with the very first listen, practically into a parallel universe I went down so fast, and she has a fucking tremendous voice as well, she wasn't using that name long ago however)
Lady Jennifahr - Sleep For Me Now (always a sucker for a nice British female voice, I did some audio work on some of her files when she was starting out, this is still one of the very best most simple vanilla pure trance files you'll ever find)
And a new entry for me just from a few days ago:
V1v3 - Deeply Fractionated (heard about it here at 8ch actually, yes I knew it was a male voice going in, it's not an issue as long as the 'tist is skilled and gets it done with no games or BS and this file wins on that count, V1v3 does an outstanding job with this one and yes, it dropped me quite nicely the first listen and actually helped improve other files I listened to immediately afterward which is part of the intention of this file to begin with - it's not nearly as much of a serious rise and then hard drop that N1kk1's Rollercoaster file does, that thing is utterly insane and almost had me recalling an actual physical real-world rollercoaster ride all while lying flat on my back, it's awesome for that)
There's a few to look for, there's always more, sure, but for people just getting into hypnosis my recommendation is stick with vanilla stuff to get yourself acclimated to trancing, then you can move to stuff you have more of a fetish towards. Get a foundation first, then build upon that.
