Yes. Despite a great many people thinking its all just pretend it really can change someone in ways they might not necessarily desire.
However, most hypnotists you will run into are in all honesty performers not a true hypnotist. The performers only give the listener what they want and treats it like a game of pretend so most opinions believe that to be the case for all hypnotism cases.
However there are a very small number of hypnotists who have either through trial and error or study of human psychology and behavioral learning figured out that it is indeed possible to change people.
Now, all of that being said even the true hypnotists can't make a penis turn into a vagina or change the color of your eyes, hair, shape of your nose, how tall you are, etc. What they can however do is change how you perceive how you look, or change your perceptions of proper behavior.
The good news is that even the strong hypnotists that know the tricks of changing perceptions in general have enough morals to not do so without the permission of their listener. Just stay away from ones like S4m4nth4 B4ndl3r and you should be fine.
Now, the vast majority of files you'll run across both here and elsewhere will simply feed your desires - no harm, no foul. Which means if you are listening to a file about lesbianism or sissification and notice changes in your life then you probably are are already desiring it and just using it as an excuse. Just stay away from the prior mentioned hypnotist as he or she slips in feminization and homosexuality subliminal changes even on files that are advertised for guys who want to be straight and become more popular with the ladies.
For anyone who thinks it is impossible to change someone via hypnosis it all comes down to acceptance and trickery. The hypnotist receives acceptance even with something as simple as "you want to be more confident" and then uses that initial acceptance and desire for confidence to give power to the session, once the strong will of the brain is focused on the hypnotism working the hypnotist can then slowly diffuse the original goal into other forms. An ethical strong hypnotist will teach the listener ways of becoming more confident, while an unethical one will focus that confidence either only upon themselves as a hypnotist or even worse on changing themselves to become someone who is confident - but not necessarily the type of confidence initially desired.
