Seriously trying to come to terms with this fascination/fetish. What does it for us? Why does the idea of being totally controlled like that just seem so amazing? Does it mean that we're weak or damaged on some deeper level?

Seriously curious what you guys think. I'm troubled but very fascinated by this thing.

Just seems like someone who hasn't taken their meds.

 No.29239

Or someone who knows more than is desirable by many. hmm!

 No.29242

No one else wants to say why they love hypno?

 No.29246

I like it because it's destructive, for the most part. And introducing you to the power of your mind to induce things like ejaculatory HFOs, for one thing is very powerful.

Also, I like thinking about the Illuminati having an agenda to turn us all into docile females who power a consumer based economy and don't question authority.

There's also the self-help part of it, but that falls by the wayside because it's just porn to me. Although I think being proud to be a sissy bimbo when I dress up is something encouraging as long as I don't become a dreadful bitch.

Gotta say I don't like the sissy/bimbofication shit. To each his own, though. It's just the feeling of totally giving up power seems to bring me perfect pure relaxation I can't get otherwise.

 No.29258

It's not sexual for me, but it makes me hard, for some weird reason. The idea of being a helpless slave puppet with no will of my own feels amazing. Why? Not sure why

>>29246

You're not alone! I hate the sissy and feminisation clips. I just want to be controlled by a beautiful woman and be totally spellbound. Is that too much to ask? Why does that have to make me a sissy? Fuck my life!

I discovered hypnosis a decade ago while I was in high school and have participated in the real-life community for six years. I dated Shibby a while ago and introduced her to this kink. So yeah, I've actually thought about it a lot.

The way I see it, we have emotions that once played a role in our survival as a species that we no longer require in civilized society. We rarely feel them because our environment doesn't bring them out. Dominance and submission are great examples; tribes of people no longer conquer each other like they once did, so those feelings remain dormant most of the time. In contrast, dogs feel submissive because it's advantageous in our society.

We're not weak or damaged people. We're experiencing an emotional state that's unfamiliar to us for recreational purposes. Dominance and submission are distinct, intimate feelings that can be very enjoyable with a partner you're comfortable with. Being hypnotized often feels similar to submission, so they make an excellent combination in the context of role-playing.

If you enjoy hypnosis, I encourage you to find a partner who's open to dominating you. It's not necessarily about whips and chains. It's about convincing both of you who has control, and once you've fully accepted your roles, it's an intense emotional experience. And then it often turns into passionate sex ;)

holy shit there's a real community behind it? wtf

 No.29284

>>29283

Yes, there's a community behind erotic hypnosis within the BDSM community. I participate in the northeastern United States. There are events specifically centered around the kink, such as Charmed! in Baltimore, MD and NEEHU in Hartford, CT. I've met several hypno-dommes in the community that way.

 No.29289

I'm honestly pretty switch, and I'm not really into any of the degrading stuff at all, turns me right off.

But Hypnosis can give you an experience nothing else can and even gets me out of a funk when I'm feeling depressed. I'd honestly be surprised if anyone who tried a fairly tame file and had it work for them DIDN'T get into it, because when something makes you feel that good, why would you want to stop? If I jerk off I feel kinda good, if I have a shuddering, HFO orgasm so hard I have to just lie there panting for a while it's miles past "good".

I kinda wish there was more neutral hypnosis out there because while I can still get into some of the pretty fetish-y stuff, it's a real shame that it's associated with all of that when it can still be pretty vanilla and be really good for people who aren't into sissy stuff or being controlled or even d/s.

 No.29290

>>29284

What do you have to do to be successful as a sub in such a community? Does being physically attractive help or is it just kinda a numbers game.

A-asking for a friend, haha.

 No.29292

>>29289

Same, I'm vanilla and I think the overly BDSM stuff overshadows the true nature of hypnosis.

 No.29299

>>29290

Of course being attractive helps, but that's just how dating works in general. There are events and parties where some of the hypnotists hang out. What could possibly be a better place to meet them? With that said, many of the hypnotists already have subjects. If you attend larger, more broad BDSM events, there's a chance you meet a dominant who's open to trying hypnosis on you (which is what I did). Then you take her to the hypno-parties and introduce her to the friends you made. Trust me, if you're friends with hypnotists and bring a Domme to their parties, they'll tell her all sorts of things to try on you ;)

>>29292

I wasn't into BDSM when I first got into hypnosis. It seemed weird and scary. Over time, however, I kept pushing my limits a bit further because it was exciting to experience more. Eventually the feeling of giving complete power over myself to another person became too hot to ignore. That's really what BDSM is all about, not bitchy women with whips telling you to lick their boots. Unless that's what does it for you…
