I had a busy week, but I got some neat things done. As well as some smaller bug fixes and new options, I've added a bunch of new 'presentation' improvements to file imports of all kinds and written the first version of some pretty neat page-to-page thumbnail drag-and-drop!

The release should be as normal tomorrow. I will be doing a large rewrite for the next two weeks, so this will be the last release of the year!

Hey h dev, got a question

Ill have a 3tb drive just for images within the week, however most hdds I use get a 3 month burn in just in case of crib death, but want to forgo that step this time and get straight to using it so i'm not overloading my current hdd as I start to gear up for image import part 3.

Is there a way for me to move the files to the new hdd, keep the files in the current archive location, but have hydrus just use the new hdd?

Soon, hopefully. Once the default url classes are in place, which will be this week or next, I'll work on the new parsing engine proper and start rolling shit out. At that point, you or any other user will be able to start parsing gallery and file pages on your own.

Sorry for late reply–you'll prob never see it, but I'm catching up on everything now after the big update and want to be thorough just in case. Feel free to mail me or catch me on the discord if you want to talk more about this.

I am not totally sure if you want to keep the files on the original or move them over or have dupes or something, but the database->migrate database dialog is what you want in any case. If you want to transition to this new drive, I recommend you 'add' it as a location and set the original drive's weight to like 9 or 19 and the new one 1. Then hit the 'move files now' to copy a few files over and free up some space on the old drive. You can keep working like that for a bit, for a 9:1 storage ratio, and slowly increase the new drive's weight or completely move everything over (hit empty/remove location on the old location) once you are confident it is healthy.
