In my opinion, it was not the Patreon, or the Judaism of the developer, but simply the fact that the only interesting story of the game has run out (mother and son).

By the way, I'm thinking of making a strongly inspired Summertime saga game with assets stolen from Koikatu. But I intend to make a decent sister to the protagonist, not an unfriendly bitch, and make all romances develop in a decent way (since much of the Summertime saga's relationships boils down to grind and redundant quests followed by sex, as in case of teachers).
