A few days ago I found a program that can unpack the .rpa archive that contains the game's files and had a quick look at what's inside.

When it comes to the characters drawn on screen Rouge-Like seems to work like Witch Trainer building the characters by layering multiple images, so changing the clothes would not be a problem simply a matter of changing it's file.

Adding new content would involve adding new files to the appropriate folders and linking them to new dialogue options added into the games action scripts. unfortunately that's where my knowledge runs out so without doing Ren'py's tutorial I can't be much help.

The files in the archive are well labelled and logically sorted say what you want about Oni's slow progress but basically on his own he's made a better game than pretty much everyone else using Ren'py.

This build should correct some cases of girls telling you that they're changing clothes when not in the scene, it should have more natural character placements during the intro scene and during scenes in general (more toward the middle than toward the far right side), maybe some better placements during sex positions, fixed Xavier's office using some too-early graphics, and tweaked a bunch of different stuff that came up in the last build. Anyway, give it a shot. Added a small change that fixes an issue with trying to feel Emma up while making out with her. If you already have version C, you can either redownload it, or just don't do that until the next build.

This new one should fix the sleepwear issues mentioned in the comments.

For instance, we have established that you want to have this be an optional sprite, optional as in you decide in game instead of just swapping existing content, that requires a variable that determines which body to use.

Now I don't know exactly how oni coded it but you'll probably have to rewrite just about everything that animates or makes kitty appear to reference what the variable is set to and which sprite to display base on the variable, OR reference the variable before making her appear at all and then running the exact same code but with the tanline images swapped in, which may be easier and is probably better as far as code goes.

There you have to mess around with the conditions depending on the sprite you're going to draw, like

Oni here. Hello /htg/. First time posting here. I see you most of the people here enjoy the game, and I'm glad. Someone brought this site to my attention and I just thought I'd check out what the thread on my game was doing. I read all 3 threads and caught up.

As someone who's pretty indifferent towards playing dress-up, I'd personally like a to see some more random events and varied dialogues. That's the kind of thing can really make a game feel more alive.

Speaking of events, have you considered illustrating them? Instead of simply stating that such-and-such girl is going down on you in the theater, maybe include an insert shot of said action on the screen as well. Text-based events are perfectly fine, but I'm sure nobody would complain about having more of your artwork in the game either.

You could avoid the hassle of drawing tons of clothing variants by requiring the girls to be wearing a specific outfit for the event to trigger. You'd still have the PC's skin color to deal with, of course.

Doing this to learn coding is fine in itself, but you seem to be missing an important step here (one you might call "information exchange" or something alike) which leads to both coding and learning process being unproductive (the state of the code after few years is a dead giveaway).

You really should stop and refactor the code for better support of multiple girls (maybe after you're done with bugfixes for this latest release); that way any future coding will be much faster and less error-prone (not to mention that by getting it right you'll learn an important coding technique that TBH you'd know a while ago with conventional learning process). You might want to take those tips and think about applying them – trust me, replacing your 200+ lines-of-code functions with 10 LOC ones would make things much better. (An "OOP" solution would work as well… While more complicated and with less clean/succinct result, it'd still be a big improvement over that kind of code and you have good chance of getting outside help as OOP had been the fad for last ~20 years or so.)

…Oh, and you might want to start with version control if you haven't yet (google "git" if you don't know what it is). That way you'll be able to keep track of changes in the code and undo some of them if they're too problematic. You can set up a local project, but normally it's better to set up a remote one (at the very least it'd mean nothing happens to your code if your PC dies); the to-go choices are GitHub (if you're alright with sharing your code) and Bitbucket (they give free private repos).

At some point I'd like if other girls were able to enter rooms you were in, during that period. Right now, I'm not looking into it, but I will at some point. As for the girls initiating sessions on their own, maybe. If they do it too much it might get annoying, and if they do it too rarely, some people might never see it. So a big fat maybe on that.

Have you tried rotoscoping? Like make a small animation with a simple model in a program like MMD/Maya/Max and use that as a guide for drawing it in 2D.

Yeah, obviously you could just remove that but I think there's potential there.

You can change the rules a bit surely, I mean Xavier can talk to Zero so powers do work on him to some extent.

Maybe it could be something to do with his concentration, if he's asleep or just not focusing then powers could work on him. He's not thinking about Xavier at all so his telepathy works.
