3D graphic is shit.

Is inexpressive, and give a feeling of plastified, like they are barbie dolls. Not to mention the uncanny effect. And basically is what devs without drawing skills that don't want to pay an artist use.

I like more 2D drawings, don't care about realistic proportions, and i have much more respect for the dev/artist creating them.

Same with animation in the last 10 years or so. We went from normal 2D cartoons to shitty shovelware 3D bullshit.

There's good 2D & 3D and then there is crappy 2D & 3D. It is not the particular medium but the quality of the artist using it. Just because you personally prefer one over the other does not make the other medium automatically bad. Good artists should be encouraged regardless of the medium that they work in

3d is better

I love the more cartoony 2D, but 3D is a bit better because you do not have to worry about artists jumping ship.

Now if we could just get the programmers to commit to an engine and maybe open source so people aren't rebuilding the wheel we may see some completed games someday.

It takes less than a minute to take an eye gouging, over the top expression and make it convincing

I'm thinking of paying an artist to try to make a Visual Novel with drawings, not these disgusting 3D models. Unfortunately they charge a lot and most hardly know how to draw. I am still told that Devianart is the realm of the autistic (I do not know if this accusation proceeds) and that it is better to avoid doing business with them.
