In A Silent Way de Miles Davis, album de jazz fusión sacado en el 69, fue altamente influencial para lo que llegó a ser el rock progresivo y el rock experimental, y todos sabemos que sin el rock progresivo del final de los 60s y de los 70s no tuvieramos los miles de subgéneros de rock que tenemos ahora.
Curiosamente no se me viene a la mente ningún músico negro en alguna banda de rock progresivo conocida. Lo más cercano que se me viene a la mente es Jimi Hendrix y él sería música psicodélicas de los 60s.
