To say abstinence has no effect on you is just outright denial.

First things first, you are very likely to get hornier. Some people are good at translating that desire into incentive to self-improve. Maybe others would see it as a really fucking annoying distraction.

It's a complete meme. There are benefits to masturbating LESS (especially if it's taking up significant amounts of your time every day), but abstaining completely for [insert arbitrary length of time here] has really no additional effect. It also depends mostly on the person doing it, with some men seeing positive effects and some not so much. Most of the studies and anecdotes I've seen show that testosterone peaks after about a week of abstinence, and then starts to trend lower; so just based on that, no-fap for longer than a week is actually detrimental. Also probably bad for your prostate.

For me personally, after a couple weeks everything just seems to shut down. My libido drops to almost zero, and if I pick up masturbating again later, it's a painful trickle of fluid at first, when everyone says it's supposed to be an ungodly explosion of cum. Like my body just thinks, "Well, clearly you're not using this anymore, so let's just turn off that system and save resources for other things." There is some logic to this, as in many wild animals, whenever it's not the breeding season, they experience testicular atrophy and lower hormone levels.
