there are no real furry communists.
that's not a defence of communists, and it's certainly not a defence of furry "communists", but this community is antithetical to communism. furry is milton friedman and margaret thatcher's wet dream. a perfect free market, as beautiful as it is inhuman and terrifying. note that all so-called communists in the fandom view it as a positive thing, as an improvement on corporate capitalism rather than the final success in the commodification of all spheres of life - the commodification of your very soul. there are LARPers with communist aesthetics, but furries are too dumb and cult-like to even be college communists. (Conversely it is also true that they're too dumb to be real nazis, perhaps too dumb to even be "real" ideological ancaps.)
a bit of the ol' stalinism would spruce the fandom up a little, but then so would global thermonuclear war.
