Guess they really weren't happy about us trying to yiff their mascot.

Funny thing, recently, some policeman went undercover and ordered a few Zabivaka plushies from a tailor. After she was done, he revealed himself and arrested her for copyright infringement.

Good work keeping the scum of the streets, boys!

In your place I'd be careful with this porn, buddy.

 No.74796>>74799

I'm surprised they haven't fully mobilized against furry under the guise of "getting rid of pedophiles". Especially considering how friendly Putin is to the leader of Chechnya where they have gay concentration camps.

How about I send drawing tablets & pirated copies of photoshop instead? In all seriousness I hope these guys make it.

>>74794

We all know 'mericans were more interested in Zabivaka anyway

>>74796

Anon in Russia tells me people get shut down for "gay propaganda" but in reality it's just an excuse for Russian gov't to silence anything they dislike without a court order. They also search you before you attend meetings to make sure you don't have any dissenting 'contraband" on you.

Russian sites are pretty good actually. They're what the US old web used to be (a library of information) before they censored everything. I pirate a lot of my software and books from their sites.

Audionews, cgpeers, gfxpeers, cgpersia, rutracker, and library genesis.

Here's a link for the last one, found every single schoolbook I had in there:

http://gen.lib.rus.ec/

http://rutracker.us/

It's pretty good if you're into game developments. Have you noticed how slav indie companies are creating realistic stuff like Escape from Tarkov and Kingdom Come? It came from their access to those resources.

You're missing out.

He's ( >>75087 ) not wrong though. A lot of useful information was removed because of RIAA and DMCAs. See: Google's fiasco with Youtube. Useful information either is monetized or hidden. The free information in the is one that tries to actively indoctrinate you.

Luckily, China and Russian sites have that content unfiltered.

 No.75117>>75123

Oh, you meant like pirating sites.

Otherwise, russia and especially china are way too far gone in terms of censorship.

this feel is not nice

Under new changes, ordering it from china is going to cost 37k without the shipping and confiscation risks, which is still cheaper than buying it locally

And they're also panning to start taxing foreign online shops with 20% VAT at some point

Just end me now

Or better yet, does anyone want a russain bf? ;)

It's true that they censor criticism of their own current government, but they leave other content freely untouched.

The opposite happens in the west; there's criticism of our own government, but it's overrated as it causes people/organizations to restrict political ideologies anyway. Combine that with the fact that content is either offlimits, propaganda, or paywalled.

Don't get me wrong, it's less worse than what those countries have, but the disregard of copyright law has given them an edge. They're nearly able to compete with the west with the skills that they obtained from that pirated content.

 No.75124

>>75123

>but they leave other content freely untouched.

That's completely untrue though.

The only reason rutracker stopped giving shit about copyright is because it got completely banned in Russia, before that they were more than happy to remove anything.

But yeah, I see what you're saying.

 No.75125>>75127 >>75132

>>75101

Ok in that case you're probably right. But why is China unfiltered of all things? "The free information in the is one that tries to actively indoctrinate you." ah yes... why do you think its exclusively free in Russia then? Same reason.

Also:

No. It's getting outside and seeing that she shit people imply doesn't happen to me or anyone I know, so I don't care.

Russians get paid to post shit everywhere (my dream job) and that's a fact, I stumbled upon those guys during all my jobs. Everyone posting certain kinds of media might be working for the Russian gov, and people share it because they are just as dumb as in the 30s. Much of the shit they share is simply made up, but you'll never find out because you've never see the world. The Russian gov actually cooperates with German nazi parties, so you know what kind of information they share.

But why do I even mention that, you are just in this thread because you love that shit and eat it up. Because the whole net is just /pol/s toilet and you're probably fucking underage.

 No.75132>>75133

>why do you think its exclusively free in Russia then

I guess it's not in strict opposition to their poltical beliefs like 3DSmax and it's tutorials, but I see what you mean.

>>75127

I think it would be better if we had old experienced people.

 No.75133

>>75132

That's true, but the old people are unexperienced with current topics. The questioning of Mark Zuckerberg was downright embarassing because noone had a clue about how the site even works.

That's the solution how to fool everyone: Make it overly complicated.

Where I live, we have the slowest internet on the friggin planet and everyone shat bricks "Oh wait? Antisemitism and Russian propaganda on the internet? Political race mostly happening online? Whaaa- who could have thooought?!" We need leaders from at least 2 generations after the current.

Might even someone with more conservative opinions, as long as he or she isn't stupid and doesn't sell out to the 4 great a-holes currently running the world.

But I'm talking waaay to much about political shit now, I should just get ice cream instead and fap.

 No.75135>>75140

>>75131

>The Russian gov actually cooperates with German nazi parties, so you know what kind of information they share.

They have no specific political alignment as they cooperated with the left-wing American Civil Rights movement. The US left still uses their talking points to this day:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/And_you_are_lynching_Negroes

I don't think that Russia's main goal is to align with nazis, it's to cause discord so that the west would lose interest on other countries to focus on their internal issues. It's working since the US interferes less with other countries now. So I'll give a job well done to you and your government.

>But why do I even mention that, you are just in this thread because you love that shit and eat it up. Because the whole net is just /pol/s toilet and you're probably fucking underage.

With them pulling domain registrars, censoring, and cutting funding for /pol/ content? I wish. It's not profitable to be one since you get penalized for having those views in most areas. I'm lucky since I live in the south though, people openly wear right-wing merchandise (ie. infowars) in my area. Even the hispanic people do lol.

 No.75140>>75142

Nice logic.

Probably to make Iran look bad. Have you seen the recent unfounded "Assad gas attack" bullshit again? But this time - OH LOOK - we've used a "virtual crime scene" that aligns with our narrative that we've constructed, https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/06/24/world/middleeast/douma-syria-chemical-attack-augmented-reality-ar-ul.html (archive takes too long for me, DIY). We've convienently obtained a "UN document" that supports our unfounded claim. Also please ignore the bomb attack the US just dropped on a civilian district before international forensic teams got to the scene which would've destroyed any evidence in the explosion...but the US would neeeeeeeeveeeeeeeeer have deliberately done something like thaaaaaat...riiiiiiiiiiight? Especially not since Assad was already winning and wouldn't need to use a gas attack.
