It's basically e621's "tag what you see, not what you know". If it looks like a child, it doesn't matter if it's canonically a child or actually 700 years old, it gets the axe. If it looks like an adult, it doesn't matter if it's actually an adult or just a proportionally-mature canonical child, it's okay.

I'm not even a fan of cub art but whenever I see shit like this it scares the fuck out of me because it sets a precedent where we have to legally define artistic subjectivity as objective now, and we must "define" realism in the sense that if someone were to draw two stick figures in crayons, that wouldn't be realistic enough to be banned, but there NOW exists a certain threshold of cartoon --> realism that you can cross which now throws you in prison. It also has the artist and viewer subjectivity backwards now and the viewer has authority as opposed to the artist, since if for example there's some dude out there that draws stocky looking characters, and a loud bitchy viewer reports the characters as underage, it is now up to the subjective interpretation of the admin to say "yep that's banned" or "nope, I interpret this character as just a small stack character".

Every time censorship occurs it fucks everything beyond belief, and I wish people would just leave it all be, even if it's something you don't like.
