I have a strong love/hate relationship with pilots.
They're usually way better than the actual show in entertainment and animation quality so they're almost always a decent watch.
But they're also often different in tone by varying degrees so even though they're normally great to watch, it's most likely going to wind up being a letdown later on.
That said, I really wish this was going up on Adult Swim or something.
It hit the somber tone decently well and made me think it was, but then kept beating the mood to death every time the guy had to use some kid-friendly phrase like "we got our butt cheeks into another hot fierce(?) avocado"
I dunno, it seemed like the video description was saying that it hadn't actually been picked up yet so maybe it'll get to settle one way or the other if it does.
