Chaos is good, entropy isn't.
Entropy occurs in closed systems where the goal is just more disorder (i.e 8chan, with its 15 year-olds trying to out-larp each other, and the only input to the system is the next year's 15 year-olds who just copy the existing standards).
Chaos is basically a Monty Carlo/random method for locating new solutions. Example: 4chan's /b/ in 2004-2005, which came up with ways to smack-down Hal Turner, Habbo's pedo chatrooms and crim mods, etc.
