The difficultly is in finding someone who prefers boy/boy or cub/cub instead of anything involving adults.

The advice I was given(that worked very well) is to just do what you normally do in the presence of a prospective partner. If that person finds that experience/lifestyle fun, you won't have to suck up your gut or worry about hiding your power level any more than you naturally do. It's far easier to date this way(as you aren't deviating from your normal routine), and you'll very quickly figure out whether the person you're dating is going to be a good match.

Let me give you some advice on how to meet girls in really any group.

Just get into the community as much as possible, go to meetups and cons, join online groups and become very engaged with them. Commission artwork, maybe even get a fursuit. The more time and money you spend in the fur community the more people you will meet and the more likely you are to find someone you really click with. Plus you'll meet a lot of friends, too. This is basically the same advice with really any other community, get active and get involved in meeting with people. The chances of finding someone as a lurker or a fringe member will be very remote.

You also might not want to call people hambeasts or tumblrites because even if they aren't most people won't want to interface with you, generally. I wouldn't. Basically just keep your powerlevel hidden and be likable and visible!

Not him, but it's a shame it seems so unlikely to find a somewhat normal furry, and by normal I mean they're mostly mentally sound and that being a furry isn't the single major facet of their identity. As for dating, I don't really want to date a furry, I want to date a person with an interest in animals, anthropomorphism, and really any biological creature extant or otherwise.
