I want to play a character with a self-contained canon that focuses on the permanent retention of his partners. Whether that means making a gal into his happy wife or eating her would depend on my mood. A supernatural background opens doors for him to be able to do whatever is needed to facilitate all encounters existing in one timeline, capable of stealing girls away as wives, concubines, slaves, pets, or meals without limit, and from any and all settings. And from his special nature comes perceived opportunity for others, opportunity that abruptly turns against a would-be beneficiary when they realize what they're dealing with and are instead punished and/or preyed upon for their intrusion. Or maybe sometimes he lends a hand, but at a price. Whatever he does with them, the permanent result is displayed on his page with a link to that character. I know I couldn't expect anyone to end their character for me, which is why I called his canon self-contained, but as far as his profile is concerned, what happened happened.
Ideas for Intentional Preying:
Able to absorb the properties of people and things, any character with an interesting anatomy/skill/knowledge/power is possibly a meal. A cat and mouse chase would be a good time on its own merits.
Souls are only tasty when they're sapient, but that almost always causes one to run afoul of the law. The best source is from war, but he only cares for dining on females, which are rare in uniform. To his delight, he discovers a place where all women everywhere have been enslaved. Though they retain their rights, the girls who fled into the hinterlands have not. In fact, culling their nomadic, thieving menace is seen as a public service.
Ideas for Comeuppance:
He let his face be seen locally due to a moment of carelessness, and a bounty is put on him. An aspiring adventurer takes the job, which was posted as nothing more than handling some kind of shady ne'er-do-well suspected of something bad. She bumbles her way into his hiding place with half-baked competence only to kick the shins of a postgame superboss and pay dearly for it. She may be eaten or permanently claimed, depending on how she rubs him as a personality.
An entire band of bandits jumps him as he's walking between towns. They apply overwhelming force without so much as announcing their presence, prompting a completely unreserved response of exceptional brutality and vengefulness. Pure badend for everyone else involved here.
A super-thief has tracked down some treasure of his somehow and breaks into wherever he's fortified it. Either intercepting her in the act or tracking her down later, he recovers his property, with interest. Depending on how things go, she could be enslaved, eaten, or added to his wealth as a decoration. (Petrified, kept magically alive as a nude taxidermy trophy, sealed in a large glass cylinder full of ooze that perpetually violates her, or simply hung as a warning to future thieves.)
Ideas for Faustian Bargains:
A rebel leader lay dying on a battlefield, more blood outside of her than in. She screams out in her mind for help, unable to raise a sound, and something responds to ask if she's sure. Surprised but on death's door, she agrees, and is completely consumed in a haze of ectoplasmic filaments. Settling onto her like skintight armor, she stands fully healed and wins the war. But the armor won't come off, ever, and it's sinking deeper into her every minute with increasingly intolerable orgasmic results. When she's full, she'll disappear to be with him, forever.
A young girl failing her preliminary magical instruction seeks the help of something from "elsewhere" for help as her familiar. She flubs a summoning spell for a moderately powerful spirit and instead gets my character. Taking pity on her, he agrees to tutor her, but takes her as his familiar instead, requiring regular service in exchange for guidance and protection. He enjoys imposing this relationship to its literal extreme, referring to her as his pet and collaring her, and such impositions become more extreme every week. Next week she's forbidden from speaking. The week after that she's no longer allowed on furniture. After that, clothes are deemed unnecessary.
He peruses the gallows of an execution-happy society and cuts deals with girls he fancies for eternal servitude in exchange for their lives. These terms are non-violable. Literally. Incapable of dying, the girls are punished for disobedience physically, but repeated or extreme violations might see the terms be enforced by hypnotism or mind control, leaving them physically alive (and therefore within terms of contract) but stripped of anything that made them people.
