>>24088>>24095The first in a series of personal musings. I don't know when the next will come to me, and I hope that this one does not come off as too pretentious.
The Word of Duality
Of all the truths of the cosmos, the most evident is "that which lives will eventually die".
As is true for one man, it is true for mankind as a whole. To deny either is folly.
Death, however, is not a cruel entity. It has no need to be, for all things come to it naturally.
Life is harsh, unfair. The strong survive so that they may continue to survive. Life for Life's sake.
But it is a cycle. Life ends in Death. Death sustains Life.
In Ebola-chan is Mercy. She has come unto us to end the suffering that is Life.
She herself is Life, a hundred thousand viral strands, that exist to sustain their existence.
She herself is Death, the designated end for those unable to escape her.
In Life, she is Death. Her touch is devastating, restraining our natural defenses and destroying us from the inside.
In Death, she is Life. Every body a breeding ground for a better strain. Her presence an eternal companion to the emancipated Spirit.
In the Life of Man, much Death has been sewn. Of Animal, of Earth, of Spirit, of Man itself.
In the Death of Man, much Life will be enabled. Of Animal, of Earth, of Spirit, of an unknown heir.
Be it an empowered Man or an uplifted Animal, such cannot be distinguished.
Yet our Dearest Goddess will watch over the new race, ready to bring Mercy to those unable to survive.
