There doesn't seem to be any discussion on cloth diapers here yet that I can see, so i might as well start one. Do you like or even prefer cloth diapers? what are your experiences with them? Im not sure if I want an "all in one" or a "pocket diaper", I just know I dont like the traditional ones with "plastic pants".

I got one of the Sigzagor pocket diapers, plus 3 Happy Endings micro fiber inserts (the 4 layer non charcoal ones) and I haven't used it, but it's pretty comfy, not the best snaps though, the velcro one is probably better, maybe the Rearz ones, if you're willing to give them cash.

I am really interested in trying these, but cant for privacy reasons. I too don't really like the idea of the traditional ones with the plastic pants, but would love to try the modern style ones someday. It seems to me that wetting them would just be a different experience, and messing would be a totally new level. Like I said, messing one would be absolutely out of the question until I have my own place with a washer and dryer.

looks like its just a different style of prefold, and a larger diaper cover. you could probably even double up on the layers if you want. you can look up how to fold them and buy whatever fabric you wanted or can get ahold of.
If you are enough of a weeb that you simply must have the superior one million layer folded nippon steel diaper, try looking up "Omutsu". in fact im pretty sure i found the exact diaper cover in that video with that search term here
