This sounds fun and I like to make these things as much Fun as I can. With that in mind my plan is pretty simple. I need to find the apprentice, convince him I didn't off his teacher and then go hide until I can get a handle on my powers. Hopefully, I can segue into the rest of his powers and flash bits. After that, I've got me some killin' to do. Afterwords I'll probably go dick around in Tolkien's worlds until I get bored and wander off into a harem anime or ten.

A dimension is a big place to explore, so being limited in how fast I can travel isn't a huge problem. The only real danger from the CYOA side of things might be the apprentice, but he can be talked down. Get the lifesaving physical powers first, then come into the more exotic and travel related ones as my powers mature. The mental powers combined with perfect shards to emulate tools would allow for quick teching-up in primitive worlds, making empire building much easier. Reach is just to have a ranged option and perfect shards can imitate so 'summon TOW launcher' is an option.

Your CYOA has potential but has too much unnecessary junk that doesn't relate to the theme.

Make it a portal gun CYOA. Have the parts you can install be the options, nothing else. As well as cosmetics and interdimensional tools for help.

So a corpse falls in front of me from out of nowhere, blasts me with energy, and then I get shunted out of my home dimension into a windowless studio apartment with modest furnishings. Also, Emma Watson is there. Using my new abilities only reveals a planet that is Earth, but isn't my Earth.

It is at this point that I decide to chill with my Emma until I need something from !Earth.

Yeah so it'll take my a minute to make each transition. That's fine. I have a house that has a medical pod and food printing. I have an alternate form so I can masquerade as whom ever I wish (Within reasons of the rules). I can see the apprentice being a problem in the short term, but I can just lock him in my house. Yeah. This could work. Those Hunters are gonna get fucked though.
