I chose the path that would give me as much power as possible. I should be pretty much unrivaled, with the possible exception of the demon lord herself. The Ryu has amazing stats, and is able to shift into dragon form which further increases her stats by two ranks (this is explained in the description of the Dragon on the second page).

Power thief allows me to gain the stats of my Ryu. I can further increase these stats by equipping my cursed sword and living armor. The cursed sword increases my physical attack by one rank. So my final stats are:

…plus whatever the living armor gives me. On top of all of this power I don't need to eat, drink, or sleep. I will surely become a legend. Cleanliness will allow me to travel, fight, and go adventuring for days without being covered in dirt and smelling horrible.

I don't think that'd quite work. You don't just copy somebody else's power, you steal them in one of two ways:

Power thief is only harmful to the monster if you try to fatally drain them.

Intimate draining is stated to only take a small portion of their power, which they can recover overnight. With intimate draining you do basically just copy their power. Your stats increase slowly over time without decreasing theirs. The creator of this CYOA confirmed this on /tg/

I'll take a submissive team that I can power drain until I have A A / A A stats which will be boosted further by the living armor that apparently also grows stronger as I fight with it. These stats give me the potential to defeat even an S-class monster as long as I strategize well. I'll also waifu the inari and the salamander, using stealth to stay alive while my power grows.

I'll be able to continue growing my harem, which will ultimately include the most powerful monsters that are willing to submit or treat me as an equal.
