Greetings sir, it appears as though your military outfit has been, shall we say, "disavowed" If you and your men are to survive on your own as war criminals you're going to need a place to stay.

I'm no good at gimp, cant affort photoshop, and paint sucks, so I'm just going to post pictures and your choices

>Aircraft Carriers

These are perhaps the most versatile of the 3 options. They are able to move about so you can change your HQs position at will. However they have a very high set up and maintenance cost, and require an active crew at all times.

>Oil rig

A very middle of the road option. It has medium sized set up cost and and moderate maintenance, and while it's NEARLY as mobile as the ACCs they can be moved for a large fee. Depending on the type of platform however they may need to be replaced every 20-40 years.

>Man made island.

The mad scientist option.

Manmade islands are the most expensive to set up, but they have an incredibly low maintenance. Unlike the above options however they cannot be moved under any circumstances.

Pick one of the above options.

>*while it ISN'T nearly as mobile…

uh yes sir, we'll get that set up right away. Obviously though we won't be able to conduct many missions while at HQ sir. How are we going to get from place to place?

>Helicopter.

The slowest of the 4 options, but it is also the cheapest, and easiest to maintain. Transporting cargo is also much easier.

>VTOL jet.

A "Vertical Take Off and Landing" Jet. As the name suggests, it can take of and land vertically do to the rotating thrusters. Allowing it to land anywhere a helicopter would, while maintaining a much faster velocity. It is the most versatile option, but it costs the most to purchase, and the most to maintain. Also, only the most skilled of pilots can operate one safely.

>Standard jet.

The standard fighter jet, it is the fastest of the 4 options and is much more capable in a firefight. It's costs are only slightly higher than the helicopter. However, it cannot take off or land on anything other than a landing strip. Making it incredibly difficult to extract you. If you choose this option, most of your missions will start with you and a pilot going to an area of operations, and you ejecting and praying your parachute works.

>Stealth jet

Very similar to a standard jet, but it is covered with a coating, and shaped, in such a way that it will be less likely to show up on enemey radar. (Although it's far from invisible or silent)

Choose one of the above options.

Very good sir, I'll order some right away. Now while in the field it wouldn't exactly be a good idea to go naked. What clothing will you wear?

>UCP

The "Universal cammo pattern" is designed to work in the desert, forest, or jungle environments. It is moderately effective in these fields.

>Forrest Cammo Pattern

A camo pattern designed for forests and jungles, it excels in these areas, it is not very effective in desert or snowy environments.

>Desert camo

A camo pattern for arid desert regions, it excels in this area, but is not very effective outside of it.

>Snow camo

A camo pattern designed for snowy regions, it excels in this area, but is not very effective outside of it.

Now then let's talk about your armaments. While the US constitution no longer applies to us, "The right to keep and bear arms." is very important in our line of work.

What will your primary firearm be like?

>Shotgun

A classic, a standard 12 gauge pump action shot gun. Extremely effective at up to 40 yards. Afterwards it's accuracy decreases significantly. If you plan on doing and close quarters fire fights. This is the gun for you. It can also be converted to fire bean bag rounds if you want to go for a less lethal option.

>A fully automatic carbine.

Often considered the best type of fire arm, and for good reason, full autos are accurate, fast, have a high capacity for carnage. If you wanna kill a lot of people quickly, get this.

>Tranq rifle

While not technically aproved for combat. this air-powered tranq rifle shoots darts at sub-sonic speeds. Making it incredibly quite. The down side is that it's fire rate is very slow, and that it's almost impossible for you to find ammo in the field.

>>3318

Very good sir, now then, while that what will your standard sidearm be like?

>Tranq gun

Almost exactly like the tranq rifle, but slightly less accurate at longer ranges.

>Silenced pistol

A heavily modified handgun. Outfitted with a top of the line suppressor. Allowing it to fire regular rounds practically silently. There will be a muzzle flash, and a small *fwoom* sound. But if you're careful, the enemy won't know what hit them

>SMG

A sub machine gun. Imagine an inaccurate, smaller version of the full auto from above. Loud, versatile, and deadly.

Unfortunately, bullets are not infinite. If you run out of ammo, and are unable to find more. You will have to resort to close quarters combat. However only a fool would go into a situation like that without a weapon. Please, pick a CQC weapon.

>Push dagger

Small, easy to conceal, and effective. The push dagger has been a favorite of assassins and congressmen alike.

>Combat knife

The KA-BAR, standard issue combat knife. Versatile, easy to conceal (Albeit not as much as the push dagger.) If desired it can be fastened to your main weapon as a bayonet.

>Telescopic baton

Non leathal, great reach, but harder to conceal.

Alright sir, I'll get your standard equipment together ASAP. But how are you going to be approaching most missions anyway? Obviously different missions will require different strategies. But what's your MO?

>Stealth

you tend to sneak in, do what needs to be done, and sneak out. Without sounding the alarms. You are a rumor, nothing more.

>Stealth is optional

You like to go in guns blazing, screaming at your enemies for being a bunch of slack jawed faggots. You're a legend, soldiers whisper of you and how you killed 30 men single handedly. Of course that's just a rumor… right sir?

>Both.

You like to sneak when possible, but aren't afraid to get your hands dirty. You have earned a reputation for doing whatever it takes for the client

I'm tired and going to bed, tell me some recommendations and I'll be back later. Also what do you think of my OC?

 No.3328

Seems like decent OC. I'd compile it myself but all I have is paint.net

 No.3365

>Location

Aircraft carriers, the staff required doesn't necessarily need to be the best. And the mobility allowed would be great.

>Transportation

Unless fultons are a thing in this CYOA (I don't think there are.) I'm going to have to go with a helicopter. I'm tempted by the VTOL but the upkeep and expertise of a highly skilled pilot makes it a no go.

>Camo/clothes

I'm not the biggest fan of this one. I would just wear the most appropriate clothing for the mission at hand. If I HAD to choose, I would go with the UCP, simply because of it's versatility.

>Primary firearm

Fully automatic carbine. The shotgun is too short range and the tranq is too slow. And the carbine gives me a lethal option.

>Sidearm

Tranq gun, so I have a non-lethal option, and it's silence will be great for stealth missions.

>Close quarters combat weapon

Push dagger. It's concealablility and low weight are good, and I've I'm VERY careful I can still use it for less-lethal take downs.

>Modus Operandi

Both, Stealth is preferable, but optional.

An expansion on the staff and the base would be appreciated. As well as the type of clients we're willing to accept. And maybe some ideologies we could espouse to? Part of me wants to be big boss and make a nation of mercs, for mercs. The other part wants to make a Rhodesia/Nazi Germany/Kekistan hybrid nation.

 No.3445

Sir, what throwing weapons? Do you have any kind you would like in particular?

>MK 2 "Pineapple" Fragmentation grenade.

Standard grenade, you pull the pin throw, it goes boom, and throws very sharp and fast pieces of metal in all directions.

>Smoke grenade.

Whether it's everyday smoke to obfuscate the enemy's vision, or white phosphorus to melt their skin off. They all land in this category.

>Pebbles.

Granite that was harvested from a nearby river to be exact. Useful for distracting enemies. Want them to leave their post for a moment? Toss one of these into some nearby bushes so they'll check it out.

>Throwing knives.

Don't pick these, They're unnecessarily heavy, made of cheap steel, unbalanced, and you're more likely to hit them with the butt or the side than the point. And even if you DID hit them with the point it probably wouldn't kill or incapacitate them, just piss them off. A bunch of fucking autists have been pumping these out for other autists to buy. Don't pick these.

Now then, what type of work will should the staff be focused on while you're away sir? Remember though sir, you are allowed to go on whatever missions you like, this is just for staff assignments.

>Charity.

Huh? Trying to turn over a new leaf? I suppose that makes sense, the staff will be focused on doing charity work while you're away. The pay isn't exactly the best as we'll have to get by on donations, and while you'll have plenty of "friends" they aren't likely to be in the highest of positions. Then again, you won't be making many enemies this way.

>Security.

Ah, the bread and butter of a PMC. Security work is simple. We'll get paid by people to protect either them, their family, or their stuff, for a set period of time. The pay is pretty decent, and you'll make some pretty powerful friends. Also a few enemies.

>Wetwork.

Our men will have to brush up on their combat skills, but It'll be well worth it. Only the hardest of PMCs focus on doing wetwork. Wetwork jobs are simple, go in, kill the target(s), get back alive, and get paid. You'll be making the fat stacks of cash money this way sir! (Dear lord did I just say that to the commander?) Uhhh, you'll be making some friends in high places if we do this sir… but your enemies will be plentiful, and powerful as well.

>White

>Black

>Indian

>Middle eastern

>Chinese

(While we could go with generic 'east asian' China's 1 child policy has created a lot of disillusioned young men, eager to join any higher cause.)

>Diversity

You don't care about race. because you fell for the Jewish meme

 No.3464

>Island

While it's expensive and can't move, at least it won't sink to the bottom of the ocean after a bomb goes off.

>Helicopter

We need to be able to extract and deploy easily, and anywhere, and the VTOL is too expensive and hard to use

also for throwing communist infiltrators out of

>UCP

Not the best at anything, but works practically everywhere

>Carbine

We aren't pansies, we shoot to kill, and this is the most efficient option

>Telescopic baton

Use the range advantage to disable people then kill them with your bare hands

or take them alive

>smoke

Gas the enemy directly on the battlefield

>Security

Doesn't pay as well as wetwork, but still pays nicely. Plus we don't need a squadron of bombers on our island because we pissed off someone too powerful.

>Diversity

I'm segregating them and deploying them based on which continent they are visiting so that they appear friendlier to locals.

Alright sir, now let's talk about some more… specialty items.

>RPG

A rocket propelled grenade, although a more accurate translation would be "hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher" from the russian "ручной противотанковый гранатомёт." Highly effective against land vehicles, but you'll only be able to carry 2 shots with you on missions. And it's not very accurate so firing at an air vehicle would be a pointless risk.

>FIM-92 Stinger

A man portable air-defense system (or MANDAS), The FIM-92A "stinger" first entered service in 1981, like the RPG don't expect to carry much ammo with you. Unlike the RPG it excels at anti-air roles.

>Barrett M82

A recoil-operated, semi-automatic anti-materiel rifle. It fires .50 BMGs, giving it enough force to punch through brick or concrete-block walls. It's intended purpose is for use against enemy materiel (not to be confused with materiAl), but it is just as effective against personal as well.

>Riot shield

A ballistics grade riot shield, while you won't be able to take on a tank with this, it is very useful at deflecting small arms fire.

>Colt Single Action Army.

This is the greatest handgun ever made. The Colt Single Action Army. Six bullets… More than enough to kill anything that moves.

So commander… what's the plan?

>Nation-state

You want to create a new nation. After being betrayed by your own you decided that the only place you'll belong, is a place you make for yourself.

>Money

Money, mammon, the love is which is the root of all evil. Well you've already been branded as "evil" by those bastards in congress. So why not go all out? Make as much money as you can, and do what you want with it.

>Revenge

While the president wasn't DIRECTLY involved with your…"dismissal." He and everyone in the white house are symbols for a corrupt system that needs to be taken down. You vow revenge against the people, and the NATION that wronged you.

>Death.

Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my leg… and my arm… even my fingers. The body I've lost… the comrades I've lost… won't stop hurting… It's like they're all still there. You feel it, too, don't you? Humanity is tainted. Our sins cannot be forgiven. The only option now, is to cleanse the world of our presence.

Sir, while some of your missions are going to be solo ops. I would prefer it if you take some backup occasionally.

>Shush

Shush is a strange woman who doesn't talk, despite her oddities however she is an incredible shot and excels at offering long range support when you're in the open. We don't really know how she got here or why she's staying. If you ask me I think she has a crush on you.

>Staff member

You will select a regular staff member and bring them with you. Staff members are trained in all the basics: CQC, firearms, explosives, stealth, persuasion, etc. Whoever you pick will be versatile and willing to die for you. (I would not recommend sending them to die unless absolutely necessary. If you do the staff will start to trust you less and less, and if you abuse them too much they may revolt.)

>Catherine is a poodle, poodles are intelligent, loyal, and capable hunters/trackers. Catherine (Cat for short) will follow you into the battle field and has been trained just like a law enforcement K9 unit hound. She has been outfitted with a harness to help you carry some light gear.

Sir our R&D department has been working around the clock to develop new gear for your use. Unfortunately making these items is expensive. So, while you'll get all three, we'll only get to make one of the devices standard gear for our men.

>Droidpod™

The Droidpod™ is a next generation smart device. It can operate as a standard cellphone, tablet, GPS, Calculator, Translator, Camera, Infrared detector, mine detector, and has a sonar function that allows you to detect enemy movements. Be warned though, if the enemy has dogs, then the sonar function will cause them to go on high alert.

>Ocular implants

Even if you already have 20/20 vision, these implants will allow you to see twice as far, and in the dark. It also allows for an augmented reality overlay. Letting you "see" how much ammo you have left, your heart rate, blood pressure. It's AR functions are also good for identifying friend or foe in high intensity battles, reducing friendly fire rates dramatically.

>Hidden ear piece

Simple really, an earpiece that is small enough to fit inside your ear. It allows for stealthy communication, and heightened sense of hearing. Allowing you to hear sounds outside of the normal audio range. It can also pick up on the vibrations in your jawbone and throat when you whisper, allowing you to communicate with others as well.

>Barry Black

The voting system has been rigged since around the time JFK was assassinated. If Barry focuses on cracking the encryption and abusing the "voting" system, he can occupy a high government position.

>Kitty Pierre

One of our few female staff members, Kitty will seduce and become the mistress of any one high ranking official. After which she will send us information on his whereabouts, actions (official and otherwise), and could even poison him if needed. Although her cover would be blown and she would have to be extracted if you choose that last option.

>Peter James

Peter can worm his way up in a medium sized news source. Becoming the CEO of news company has many benefits. Both PR benefits, and *ahem* "subversion" benefits.
