It depends greatly what you mean to "get". It might be possible to receive SOMETHING in a university. But here's the thing: in order to qualify for "affirmative action" which is usually based on race, you have to PROVE you're that race. If you're obviously black, that's not a problem; but for example: if you want to claim you're 1/8th Native American, and you just look like a white guy, you better have documentation or it's not going to fly. So because you can't really "prove" that you're gay (probably ANY straight man would suck a dick if they got a scholarship out of it) I doubt there's anything available outside of clubs or support groups. Maybe they can pull some strings and get you a discount on parking.
But if you mean a job? That's a big fucking laugh. Many states are still legally allowed to discriminate based on sexual orientation, and the ones where it's illegal they still do it anyway (but claim they won't hire you for some other reason). You might as well just get on the breadlines because saying you're gay in America makes you a pariah and nobody will hire you. Why would they? Just upset all their other employees.
