For specific stuff, Craigslist personals were better than IRL, back in the day. Also, most of the pre-Grindr shit like oldschool Manhunt was(is) superior to Grindr, too. Some of the worst sex and relationships I've had were out of the blue IRL. Like, I cringe thinking about some of that.

i have spent intimate time with 16 people and only 2 of them I would do it again. I truly believe our culture is fucked in the sense of finding meaningful connection. everybody has their desires now, and since we are so used to receiving our desires (any food we want, any games we want, any porn we want) then why should my partner be any different?

I've spent years going to "the bars" going into tinder and grindr and okc. nothing works because we've quite literally fucked our idea of reality. Hedonism takes a front seat to meaningful connection.
