You should let your boyfriend know about what's going on, there are already some good advices from the posts above so I don't have much to add to that.

Personally if I was the bf and found out somebody was trying to get into pants of my qt husbando, especially if that someone was his friend, I would go mental and knock his fucking lights out. Though thats just me, good luck!
