Today is day one of my self-education in computer science, with concentrations in cyber security and machine learning.

It’s a common stereotype that people in the computer science trade consume a lot of sugar and junk food for a short term burst of energy, I hope I can keep up as I refuse to drink soft drinks or the like. The cherry blossom tea sounds nice, I’ll try it.

I know some programmers for instance, who try to avoid screens as much as possible in their spare time and read a lot instead and try to meet up with people, go to restaurants, etc.

So, if you prefer that, that's cool or whatever really. Read girly novels / love stories, high lit., graphic novels, comic books, anything that makes you feel good.

Or indeed, be cute and drink tea while cd'ing.

So, one of the most influential anime of all time, by one of the most respected anime directors of all time, was a good example of how to not make an anime. That makes sense.

Everyone agrees that the last episode is bad, that's not even a point of contention.

Someone running out of money, because they want to make a great work of art, rather than bend to commercial interests, disproves rather than proves your point.

I don't think that the director takes himself very seriously, yes, but I don't think that takes anything away from the end product.
