Thank you! And honestly, I don't really have much rythm, I drew that real fast while in class.

I ended up using it as inspiration for a painting tho, I'll post it once it's dry, this board needs more sfw stuff ;-;

Drawing fast in the gestural stage usually leads to stronger weight anyways. I know if I spend to much my gestures get stiff. Looking forward too seeing your piece though!

I'll take note of that, I spend too much time on figuring out my gestures usually ;-;

And done! Or at least it's done drying up, I'm shit at using acrylic paint so I missed some spots in the background but bleh

I’m sure you already know this but it’s best to figure out what’s moving in your drawing before you start. If I don’t know what’s going on, I instead aim for get the forms right through shillouette, and then go back and fill it in through gesture. I’ll have to scan some and show you. And your paintings coming along well! Your darks are great, just try and add some mid tones to your lights and you’re set!

And thank you! I had trouble working with it but I'm pretty happy with the results, except for what you've mentioned, I gotta work on that, I'm used to going full black and white without any grey so o:
