Not really. Story was the only thing that was arguably better, but the simplified 'Back to the Future' time travel logic causes its own set of problems.

Other than that, everything was worse. Most of the humor felt like something you would see in a Seth Rogen movie, especially the parachute scene. This wasn't the case with the original. CGI is worse, which is especially apparent with the Juggernaut and constantly reused animation of the Blackbird getting ready to land. Ending fight is lame too, since only threat is Juggernaut, who is left to Colossus and X-kids to handle, while rest just murders Orphanage employees who are not a threat.

Domino is not nearly as annoying as trailers implied she could be, and is instead a cliche deadpan character. Writers also went overboard with her ability, to the point which makes you wonder why didn't they make Domino take care of the Colossus or talk to the kid. And she should be chalk white, especially since having a black actress painted white gives more opportunities for jokes. Oh wait, I'm sorry, there is no room for politically incorrect jokes in an 'edgy' and 'mature' film like Deadpool 2.

There also isn't any eyecandy in this one, save for Domino's cleavage and few brief shots of Negasonic Teenage Warhead in a tight suit. Morena Baccarin is in it maybe for 10 or 15 minutes total

The Time travel stuff didn't bother me at all, since almost off of that only comes around at the very end and the movie wraps up before you can think too hard about it. Plus I've gotten used to ignoring that shit since it seems every timetravel movie has at least one major cock up involving it's mechanics.

The parachute scene didn't annoy me. but the joke was really obviously coming from a mile away, however I did get a genuine guffaw out of the Brad Pitt cameo.

The worst part about that is that I never really appreciated how hot she was until I saw her in Deadpool 1. She'd never really rustled my loins before but for some reason her hotness really started getting to me in the first movie.

Just got back from seeing this in the ol' drive in theater withmydad

There were decent jokes here and there, the fat kid wasn't as awful as I thought it'd be and there were some decent jokes in there like the XMen from the recent prequels just sliding the doors closed when Deadpool was complaining about no actual XMEN being around.

I feel like the action scenes were better in 1 than in 2 which was more gag heavy. Juggs was definitely the highlight, wish they got more screentime but I also feel like more could have ruined it.

Domino wasn't terrible, I can see what they were going with but the fact that her superpower is just Advanced Plotarmor I feel keeping her as anything but a minor character will be a super fucking drag considering there is nothing really to her character wise other than snarky black lady.

I'd give it a pretty OK as far as these movies go, certainly better than Super Troopers 2 they were showing as well.

Liked it. Liked a lot of the comic book nods. Don't care for trying to push Deadpool so much with the X-men instead of just having him be an independent character but they don't have much to work with right now beyond that. Especially now that Disney owns Fox and probably will merge the franchises together after Infinity War 2.

I also liked this one more than the first one. I didn't really care for the fat kid though. He was supposed to play the sympathetic character, but I was never able to care about his plight.

I did like how they managed to play the emotional scenes straight without letting the comedy parts overrun it too much. I will say my favorite was in the mid-credits scene when New Deadpool kills Origins Deadpool, and then kills Ryan Reynolds as he's holding the script for Green Lantern.

Best scenes were with colossus

I wouldn't call it an "accident." It was more like "serious neglect." Look up the story sometime. The short version is there are like no female black stunt doubles in Hollywood so instead of using special effects, or makeup they had an unqualified intern who didn't even have a driver's license double for their sheboon, with disastrous results.

So I just watched it. My opinion:

- For some reason, all dialogue jokes before the parody intro sequence sucked. I don't know why. I was actually worrying the movie would stay like that. The first half of the movie kinda sucked, actually…

- The X-Force casting and the beginning of their first mission was the funniest thing in the movie by far. It was also kinda brilliant.

- Second funniest thing were the end credits.

- The theme song of you-know-who is hilarious.

- The guy in this thread who said it's better than Infinity War can fuck himself.

Also, at first I didn't want to watch this movie because Deadpool fans are retarded. And as proof, I was sitting behind 2 fugly sandwhales and their really dumbass boyfriends, like a double date, and one of them was drunk and they almost beat each other up until the security kicked them out.
