Go fucking read it. She literally throws Scorpion into a vat of acid, wins a fist fight with Sabretooth, fights Deathbird and Mystique before they showed up in X-Men (yes, Deathbird and Mystique are MS. MARVEL VILLAINS the X-Men BORROWED), and goes toe to toe with MODOK and The Doomsday Man.

Despite the stupid costume and haircut, she was a brawler who made She-Hulk look like a fucking Care Bear.

I'm looking at the Masterworks volumes and was interested in buying them, but then I found out that the rape thing is part of them. Can I just skip straight to Avengers Annual 10, or is that shit important?

Binary was a cool design, I first learned of it as a costume for her in a video game. It looked ugly there and I looked it up and was shocked it looked cool. However it is kinda similar to Nova (Galactus herald) and Fire from DC but still neat.

For someone that is supposed to be far above Sabretooth's level, that's not a particularly impressive showing. That's like being awed by Superman winning a fist-fight with the Green Goblin.

She wasn't that strong in the old book. She was just durable and could fly. Feats like cracking open Doomsday Man's skull required identifying a new seam and using Kree martial arts to kreeate-chop it open. Fighting Gortok meant popping his eardrums and dropping an oil barrel over him, and she still lost. Fighting Destructor required busting a fire hydrant and shaping the jet of water with her hands to knock him off his knockoff goblin glider. Vision got lured into a trap she jury-rigged because he's predictable. And like I said, Scorpion got swung into a vat of acid by his tail.

She used finesse and her environment before she got tuned into fucking Superman with pew pew lasers.

I think Black Cat beat him up just with her own skills, I'm not sure about Daredevil but I'm pretty sure he did too.

I read the earlier issues of Claremont's run. I thought it was kind of meh. Some of the ideas are interesting like Carol having this split personality between Ms. Marvel and Carol Danvers and them struggling and trying to co-exist but for some reason it just felt so dull to me.
