It was almost indescribably bad coming from Beast Wars. The biggest failures are in the op though; retarded motivation of the new series and it disregards the entire history of the previous show.

Some of the new character designs were cool, I especially liked the jet plane thing.

The generals saved the show but they handled them badly

What pisses me off is that Prime ordered them to ask Rhinox if he wanted to change back while Black Arachnia captures jetstorm and forcibly changes him back.

The biggest "Fuck you" for me was the fact that the Maximals essentially lost the fucking Beast Wars.

I didn't like Beast Wars because it was so hard to tell what was going on visually. Even on a modern TV it's hard.

I just remember hating the tree huggin Optimis as well as those UGLY fucking character designs… Cheator (orwhatever) went from being the best to the worst.

It's especially galling considering how much the show fucked up Megatron. In Beast Wars, Megatron was always a step away from ruling the entire fucking universe – whereas in Beast Machines, despite 'winning' the Beast Wars, all he does is rule over one tiny, lifeless planet.

Megatron got to be a T-rex and a dragon and was a take charge leader in Beast Wars.

In Beast Machines he was a fucking control console that barely ever did anything.

The generals reminded me how awesome it would be if there was a show with heroes trying to save the environment and stop a robot dictatorship, but it has the robot generals as the main characters bumbling about. Like a parody of a Terminator robot takes over environment that shows what goes on in the minds of killer robots if they had some personality. I mean the personalities of the generals were a whole lot likeable and interesting than the actual heroes. Hell it would be easy to make it a parody of environment moral shows by making the hero antagonists a bunch of eco terrorists in the eyes of the robots.

What makes me pissed off is how Maximals and Predacons are not their own thing anymore. They are just subfactions of Autobots and Decepticons.

Its even more of a problem since the combiner predacons still exist too
