These pictures are four or five years old, and that is just posturing dealing with surface issues when there is more important shit to deal with. There is more and more shitty ideas from the west making their way into society. Puritanism, anti-vaccination movement, increasing amount of loanwords from English whether they are necessary or not, 'gender' ideology and 'gender studies' (under its English name) making way into some universities, entertainment elites obsessed with emulating western entertainment industry and their ideologies, and so on.
Worst one is probably media and certain academics who are obsessed with implementing cultural Marxism ideals, but lacking avenues to do so, so they try to invent vectors for them to be brought in and implemented. Progressives have no leg to stand on when it comes to feminism and 'career' side of things, since women hold 50% of leadership positions and make as much as men already. They tried use gypsies and Muslim refugees in the past, but failed. Now progressives are attempting to do that with foreign tourists and Ukrainian refugees.
In case of Ukrainians, they are being made into Poland's equivalent to Mexicans. Right wing eagerly swallows the bait, and plays the role of the 'bad guys,' just like media wants them to.
In case of foreigners, media misconstrues everything as a racist and xenophobic attacks by Polish citizens. Sex tourist goes after a woman who is not a local cum dumpster, refuses to take a 'no' for an answer, and girl gets local men, bouncers or police involved? Racism and xenophobia. Lads get hammered after two shots of vodka, start shit with the locals, get beaten up, banned, cursed out, and arrested? Racism and xenophobia. In case of tourist shit, local media also uses it to get attention of foreign media, which attracts attention of western extreme leftists, who then support local progressives. Same with feminists. They protests against reform restricting abortion, that will never happen. For the last two decades, almost every year there is a fringe of religious fanatics who get just enough signatures to send abortion restriction proposal to the government. No one wants it, government ignores it as long as possible and then tosses it out, but feminists protest only to gain media attention. And it actually started to work lately.
Of course, government shitting the bed, as usual. They fulfilled some of the election promises, but they keep alienating people with their other shenanigans. Replacing competent officials with their incompetent cronies? Check. Corruptions as bad as in any government before it? Check. Giving themselves obscene bonuses and expanding their immunity? Check. Making life harder for Polish entrepreneurs and small business owners? Check. Erosion of employee rights? Check. In addition, this government is buddying up with widely disliked group of religious nuts and reaching commie levels of absurdity in their propaganda. As the time goes on, they turn more and more people against them, and sooner or later leftist extremists will use that.
