Oh well. Animation looked decent enough, although I was not a fan of constant "Deadpool's cartoony bombs." Series was also to be written by Donald Glover, which is not good, because he has gone up his own ass in the recent years.

As to pulling the plug, it was probably Disney's doing. They are fond of killing projects and shows when taking over studios and IPs.

Pyonski became a hipster and he mentioned that Megas XLR is problematic. Some of Titmouse's recent project have been pretty shit. Nerdland, Future Worm, and Big Mouth are probably the worst ones. There were also rumors of them working on Moongirl and Devil Dinosaur animation.

Deadpool is best taken in small chunks in my own opinion. I always had a small soft spot for him but even before his movie blew up his popularity he got annoying.

This. Kelly's Deadpool was a dark character who was only irreverent on a surface level. Priest meanders around for a bit and does a few more whacky stories, but still depicts Deadpool as an actual character. Simone, despite being a hack today, actually did alright with the five or so issues she wrote, as well as Agent X. Cable and Deadpool was ground zero for Deadpool becoming the oh-so-fahnee memester we know today, but it worked, because it was a team-up book where Cable could serve as a straight man and actually move the plot forward. Way took the goofball Deadpool from C&DP and removed all the stability brought by Cable and the rest of the supporting cast by having a largely solo book where Deadpool wanders around for 60 issues because LOLRANDUMB, deals with a lot of gratuitous guest appearances and acts like an irrational retard. Of course, Wade appears in the big Wolverine movie, Way's book gets lots of attention simply for being the Deadpool book in print at the time and now every writer at Marvel draws inspiration from Way's drivel and depicts him as a shallow meme character for redditors.

Look up one of the old tumblr /co/ recs. Those are mostly the recs I would use.

And to that I would add the Spider-Man cartoon that got cancelled two seasons in. Despite it being cancer af, Joe Kelly was involved in that episode and it ends up not being something bad, but actually pretty good.
