I feel like this had some real good potential but volume 2 slipped on a banana peel and fell on its fucking ass.

Honestly with the death of Eresko all tension just left the comic. The dude was intense and his scenes carried the first volume, writing him out by getting him murdered by the mute blonde (WHO WAS CANONICALLY FUNCTIONING AT HALF POWER BUT JUST THAT GOOD) makes it so we have no one else to act as a threat, and now the powers aren't just manipulating the 'slaves', but now acts as generic super powers as shown by that Michael Cera looking wiener at the end blowing doors open with the magic tongue.
I still have some decent hopes for this, but my confidence is shaken after this showing. I'll just have to keep an eye out and see what happens next release.
