After watching two of the first few episodes, its pretty okay-ish. Not the best or memorable, but it is a cartoon. It leans way heavily on TT:GO visuals, but its also not as obnoxious yet. Its just as stupid as TT:GO but it least it fits with the character, despite Unikitty being a one-trick pony or unicorn-cat For some reason, this also shares some similarlies to Sonic Boom;

> The tough one

> The outlier

So in no sense is this original, beside the fact its also based off Legos. Speaking of which, the show is just called "Unikitty" and not "Lego Unikitty" or "Unikitty: A Lego Cartoon" or some shit like that. It almost seems like they didn't want the Lego name to be too attached to Unikitty in case it flopped.

Point is, its not TT:GO, but nothing speical either. Just following the modern trends of today.

Also did anyone else catch that fucking Iron Giant reference in that one mech episode?

Would've never guessed that. But something tells me the only reason they added the floating Lego brick is to reassure the viewers that "Yes, this is a cartoon about Legos" cause god knows the art-style itself doesn't help show that fact. Would have it been too much effort to add a few studs on the other character's body parts, and not make them look so plain? I'm all for simple character design, but this is too simplified.
