The characters were not engaging enough to push through that.

Huh, funny because generally, the finale is where the main catharsis and all the elements converge.

Well, I liked the show, but if you can't connect with the characters then whatever can you do?

Honestly, I feel like this is a "Well I understand and respect your opinion but this is just more of a personal thing".

It had great music and great style, but it just wasn't fun. The show should have been Intergalactic Mario Cart, but instead we got Shadow the Hedgehog's Drama Hour.
