If I weren't from my desktop, i'd post the proof. Funny enough, when the character was being made some Goon from Know Your Meme was lurking between cuckchan and 8chan and live updating an article on the progress. When old 8/tv/ found out about this, they tracked the fucker down and almost started to dox him until he started to mention 8chan too. During the mess, a couple Anons did some research and discovered that the cuckchan thread was made 10 or 6 minutes after the 8chan thread, word for word with the exact file name. The cuckchan thread spent the first half hour shitposting shev memes while old 8/tv/ started to develop Tray Tor as an actual character with actual art (look at the previous post). Of course when half /tv/ finally made their own inferior Tray Tor "Tr-8r", because the Goon from Know Your Meme was there and because there was a shit ton more people over on cuckchan, Tray Tor was lampshades by the knock-off. Again if I were at my desktop I'd post the pics.

Personally i haven't really seen a change on /v/, usually shitposting is high when drama is happening and Mark is always short on vols. /a/ is mostly the same, having a strong moderation that keeps it's userbase in check, with a bot mod, that deletes any posts which contains "fam", "smh", and I think even ":^)".
The only other board I visit, would be /liberty/, but that is mostly because of my political leaning. Sadly the board is mostly active when some shitposter from /leftypol/ comes in to debate to make a clown out of himself. I am also curios about this. Some would say that it's because, there are no more good shows/comics or because Samurai Jack(or any other show with a large following) ended, but this can't be the case. /co/ has always been there with /tv/ and /a/ in the board ratings and that was before Samurai Jack started to air, but a few weeks ago, it dropped to the levels of /tg/. The way I see it, /a/ got more users because the mods understand how to moderate a board properly. After the moderating in 4chan became draconian during the months before Moot left it people got this idea that any moderation = bad moderation, which is not true and that is obvious to anyone who isn't the newest of newfags. The best years of 4chan were when the board was new and moderators did their thing. If someone gave the slightest hint of being underage, they got banned. If their grammar was shit, banned. If they acted like faggots, banned. People loved seeing mods shit on retards during those days. Visible ban messages were a type of virtual public humiliation that showed people what wasn't acceptable, and it was good more often than it was not. That kept most boards on 4chan, even /b/, pretty fun and good quality places to post at for several years, until the great Habbo raid, the 4chan city flash movie and some other things brought in too many people who didn't adapt properly and mods just stopped giving a shit.
The mods on /a/ aren't "literal tyrants," they're just more strict than you're used to nowadays in an imageboard, but they're still more lenient than any moderation team you're going to find in forums out there.
