I remember some sort of crow or bird trying to save/be saved by something else in an ocean of oil but probably couldn't (be) and maybe drowned but they(?) managed to salvage the body probably. Their fate was uncertain because I remember flipping the channel after that. I think it was a movie.

I vaguely remember a show where the MC was a scientist/explorer going underwater to explore a huge ruins/city (Atlantis?) but gets stuck and almost drown until a strange multi-colored(?) girl with fins on her limbs finds him and saves his life by changing his body into a hybrid type - he now transforms into a blue underwater breathing hybrid with a fin on his head but on surface, he changes back to his human self. I do not recall the name of the show but I think it had some CGI, especially for underwater vehicles and combat.

Slightly off topic, it's weird looking up the series and finding out it had 32 episodes, even when I experienced it on weekdays after school (so I would assume 5 days a week) the series felt like it was around longer or maybe it's just the perception of time and quantity from my youth.

The Story of 15 boys was a feature length animation based on the Jules Verne's novel "Two Years' Vacation." I don't remember much other than a girl, an ostrich the plot twist, and I think some pirates. I have yet to find it digitally available anywhere (in the english dub.) And the only copy I could find was a $50 used VHS. So I would have to buy the VHS a VHS player a capture card, and then rip it myself. I'm not poor, but I still can't afford ~$100 for a single movie from my childhood.

I remember what I guessed was a Christmas special where a brown bear with glasses and an owl sidekick went ice skating with a lady polar bear. But then the brown bear got in danger if slipping into a gorge and him and the polar bear tried to reach each other's hand. While I have never watched it, this show was supposed to originally be a light friendlier adaption of Doug TenNapel's graphic novel named Gear.

Gear is about a war between cats, dogs and insects who do battle in mechs and 4 cat brothers (Gordon, Simon, Waffle and Mr. Black) who must hijack a mech from their enemies. Violence, swearing and some death happens.

All Catscratch took from that was 3 cats, Gordon, Waffle and Mr. Blik (yes, renamed from Black) and naming their vehicle Gear (to reference the comic's name) and then adding a mountain of inheritance from their rich deceased owner so they could do anything they want for laughs.

I don't know if Catscratch is a good show, it only lasted one season, but what the hell happened in the process of adapting Gear to become it? It's so different from the original product there's barely any resemblance left. The only positive seems to be that Catscratch is easier to find than Gear.

I thought that show was made because of the success of Teen Titans.

My parents and a bunch of other adults all met up at somebody's house for some occasion when I was about 5 or 6, and they shut the kids up by putting on some video about undersea animals. Anyway the bad guy was a huge whale and at the end they all teamed up on him, in a surprisingly gory battle. These razor-sharp clamshell things were all cutting him, one even cut across his eye.

Also way more recently there was some CG show set on a bunch of floating "islands" in clouds, like a planet where the surface has all split apart and ascended upwards a couple of mile sor so, then stopped. Anyway they were flying about on sailboats with hover engines and that.

Late at night once I caught some show about mostly black kids in a theme park. There was some really slutty fat girls, and the main boy was called Kahlil.

Also anybody know of a reasonable place to "obtain" the 2000's CG Dan Dare cartoon? I got into the original comics much later, and found a little of the cartoon on Youtube and it's surprisingly unpozzed. In fact I think Titan comics have a Dan Dare series going right now and have managed not to make Digby, or Dan himself, a nigger, which is a minor miracle (also in Dan Dare's backstory the UN "worked out" and every country has high living standards, so why would anybody move anyway?)

It is about a future ("Far Out") detective agency run by four African-American teenagers and their makeshift sentient, talking rocket (similar to Speed Buggy). The rocket's signature phrase was "Rickety Rocket, blaaaaaaasssssst offffffffffffff!"

It's not really Kangs, though it sure is weird sounding series. One of the characters is named Sunstroke. Naming a child after a illness is not a good idea.

The main character was this green monster-like thing with big googly eyes, it went around fucking shit up and that's how most plot started. It had a best friend that was some blue cloth thing that was always afraid that shit would turn out bad. Other characters i remember was some dumb action toy that was the rival of the protagonist and sometimes they'd fight, but they were also in this weird love triangle with a barbie doll. What was that one where MLK gets shot?

There's this one show I barely remember, and it's really frustrating since I just can't find a trace of it anywhere. It starred three friends (two boys, one was a short coolkid with blue hair and the other slightly nerdy (possibly with a nasal voice?), and one catch-all girl with pigtails; the usual back then) hanging around and dealing with the monster of the week. After each episode there'd be a short educational sub-episode where you'd learn about spooky stuff in the real world (still animated, though), with one of the MCs narrating. The only episode remember clearly at all was about how an extremely pale and reclusive family moved in nearby, turning out to either actually be vampires. Or they just had a disease or something (I seriously can't place how it ended, but both possibilities were explored).

I don't even remember if it was a good show or not, or if it even existed in the first place..

Went and finally watched this out of curiosity, well fuck it's weird. Even stranger with the whole dingo's are mankind's friend and dingo's save and raise the human babies, considering the real life a dingo ate my baby! incident happened in 1980 and this came out 4-5 years after.

Live action backgrounds had a few iffy moments in the early dingo chase but somehow they got the animated human characters moving or climbing on them in what appeared to be believable way in terms of perspective. Quite a few moments of repeated animation loops just with different backgrounds to pad out certain scenes, trying to avoid having characters mouth's and speech in the same shot, lots of other little cheats to save more dollarydoos on animating things.

The ending was just weird, if they became the new king and queen dingo's, won't it be incest if they breed? What happened to their dingo sibling? I thought they would have gone back to the other human tribe or help create proper human civilization at the end after getting the secrets of life.

I remember a movie where some blonde girl got stranded on an island and could talk to animals maybe they were dinosaurs?, they gave her leaves for clothes to replace her normal clothes.

I kind of remember a cartoon from by childhood. It was about a pair of siblings in some sort of band. They had an animal sidekick/mascot of some sort. Their rivals were a pair of snooty kids, I think. I kind of remember them showing up once as rivals. Also the sister/girl of the siblings sang a song once which a small part is the only thing I really remember even somewhat clearly.

There was a cartoon I remember watching on video as a kid, must have been from the early to mid 80s.

Didn't get the title as it was recorded off the TV but the art style was very simple and there was no actual dialogue - just noises. I remember 2 episodes. Starred a boy (possibly with a bother/sister) and a highly intelligent dog. In one episode the kids get violin lessons but sneak off after the teacher necks a tube of sleeping pills, leaving the dog to take their place - it could play violin. In the end it puts on a concert and everyone loves it.

In another there was a couple of burglars in the area and they break into their house, but the kids take these Invisibility Pills to scare them - one pill makes them invisible from the waist up, and a second pill does the rest. I remember in the end they get chased off by the half-invisible dog, appearing as a pair of hind legs.

Another thing I was trying to remember was a kid's book from way back. I really can't remember much of the story but I remember it had really good art. I think it had a norse/viking theme and there was this evil king (or something) who ruled a castle and the good guys asked the king of the sea to help fight him, the king being a giant Walrus who brought a whole army with him and could summon a storm.

Does anyone remember the cartoons that use to play on HBO at 4 AM? Each one told a different story. The one that left a impact on me was the one about the scientist who made a teleporting machine. It becomes super popular and everyone uses it. Another character, a girl, finds out later its not a teleporting machine but a cloning machine, and the original gets murdered after being cloned. Twisted shit.

There's a snippet of something I've seen years and years ago while channel surfing, back when I still watched TV. It was made in claymation and there were two men dressed like British Navy officials circa 18th or 19th century. One of them was thin and wore blue, and the other was pudgier and wore red, both were wearing powdered wigs. The former was waving around a manuscript of some kind and repeatedly telling the guy in red to read it. He did so in song form, so I'm inclined to believe it was a musical or something of the sort.
