I like all three of them, but I think Bug Salad has the most potential out of the three. Cupcakery of Doom seems it could be kind of one note, and My Friend Pancake draws some obvious parallels to Totoro, even in name.

When a show gets popular, other networks tries to copy the same format. It's not limited to cartoons, for instance when apple launched the Iphone a lot of mobile phones companies tried to copy their design and the features of the phone. It's a marketing strategy.
