>Slade is a father with seemingly only one son, Joseph Wilson.

>His wife, also his former trainer, thinks Slade's just a business man while he's actually doing merc jobs in all the countries he travels to.

>This version of Slade has a conscious enough to kill a corrupt south american president but still do the job of killing the rebels he was hired for. He also seems to have a moral compass that prevents him from taking jobs he doesn't feel are morally just.

>Wintergreen is black.

>Slade volunteered for drug testing trial without knowing what it'd really do. He was discharged but the drug began to actually work shortly after. Slade became Deathstroke from then on.

>Real plot kicks off with The Jackal kidnapping Joseph to lure Deathstroke out. With the goal of getting him to work for HIVE.

>He refuses to join, kills one operative, disarms Bronze Tiger, stabs Jackal, then attempts to save Joseph who's being held at knifepoint by a HIVE goon. Joseph's throat is slit in the process.

<10 years pass

>Deathstroke is now completely alone. HIVE contacts him & says they have his son, again. Slade finds out his son has superpowers passed on from his drug effects.

>He fights Bronze Tiger for information on HIVE. Disarming him once more.

>Wintergreen assists Deathstroke to getting to the island where Hive Queen is holding Joseph.

>Cue Lady Shiva. Slade surrenders to get an audience with Hive Queen immediately.

>HQ wants to train Joseph to use his powers & become a living weapon. She gives him the name Jericho.

>Slade busts him out, they have a daring escape, but it was all a ruse on Jericho's part. He reveals that HQ is Rose Wilson & he wants to work with her.

>HIVE goons gun Deathstroke down. Shiva pushes him off a cliff. End of episode.

It was okay. The animation is iffy at times. Sometimes you'll get some really smooth work. Most of the time it's kind of choppy & lacking in detail. However the tone is perfect. It's kept completely serious with only sprinkles of lightheartedness. It's not fucking batshit stupid like the Harley Quinn show. For now I'd say it's worth a pirate.
