Not all but most of it. Well it's not something new, but it means that there no Hype Train, and that is good, And there a thread about Mr. Krabs war anyway, so there it goes.
Really, Why people love this comics? I meen, well it have a really good start and some fun and interesting part, but nothig good that can't be done with origial Superman. Like alternative realies, and all that shit. Well, exept for ripoff Clark kent/ripoff Jean Gray thing. Tragg and his storyline can go by Zodd just fine, and that storilne is not really interesting,
But I digress.
Im fine with autor thath put in comics every social problem, that he can, it been done worst that it, And better that it, ass well, But, story hero - Invincible is little hypocritical shithead, really.
Powerplex who must be someong who questions main character done so… uncompetent that it is not even funny. Its could only be worse if only he literally has sign "dangeros insane idiot" on him. Why is he even needed?
That "restart story and you can fix all or you can go home" shit is… worst way to squander time for fast grown comis child thing, The Big Two characters went to the "redemption" for more less questionble desigions. And finale… He was literally saying that "hero is bullshit" and them just turn off like silver age Superman.
And… It's just wrong on so many levels, Let's just say that if you take over Earth and make it Utopian it's bad, but if you do it for galaxy its… fine! Because…. Because fuck off, that why! And its not even all,
That comics had good momens, but all of them can go by mainstream as well. Corporate comics jokes and just same shitty plot twist. And more.
tl;dr All shit in Invincible from Kirkman and his "vision", All good from Corporate Mainstream he joking all the way about. And all meh… well, nobody cares.

that's really it. remember this was being doled out piecemeal over, what, ten years? the letters pages in the later issues are full of people drooling over 'the build, the build' of soap opera shit that falls flat if you read it any faster than twenty pages a month.
but it (((subverts))) so many tropes that means its good

Well, enen hypocritical, that trope jokes sound, them.
And… It parasites on tropes, not subverts, really. It's like… Irredeemable or Supreme Power do that Sups went wrong thing way better.
For most tropes, like Secret Identity or Hulk-like trarsfomation, there only a joke once of twise and that all.
And that been done waaaaaay better.

And one more thing that really pisses me off,
If you do some morally gray/not fit in western moder moral choise, you will end dead or cripped or else… If you not that motherfucking Mark Grayson,
Well in the end was a little foreshadowing that something from the past will bite him in his ass, but its looks like complitle not.

It's just Superman if he had the life and traits of Peter Parker (with a bit of Irredeemable in there). Except he's already in a worse hell than Peter Parker will ever be in.
The only good thing besides the first few issues is that it actually has a half-decent ending, at least to me…

Invincible owes a lot of its popularity due to the time it came out at. Bendis and Loeb were 'in' back then, and being better than either one of them is not a big challenge. Especially for Kirkman who is pretty good at writing beginnings to stories, only for them to go off the rails later.
Unique art style helped too. Most comics at the time had darker coloring schemes, and art styles were either evolution of the 90s or early days of processed 3D models pioneered by Gaydos. Invincible looked like neither, while having much better art than vast majority of big two books.

Speaking of which, is TWD still ongoing? I stopped reading years ago, back when they were doing the Negan arc.

His Irredeemable Ant-Man was actually pretty good, but as with most of Kirkman's stories, initial few issues were better than the last few. Still, it was much better than what he usually writes, probably because endings was set from the get go and his Ant-Man was intended as a miniseries all along.
Not knowing how to tie up stories is pretty common among comic book writers. Gaiman, Vaughan, Lemire, and Bendis all have problems with endings and last acts of their stories - even their biggest fanboys admit it.

You wot? Might want to read back your posts, mate. It's pretty difficult to decipher your point here.
I personally enjoyed large parts of Invincible, but I also think a lot of arcs could have been resolved faster or cut completely.

I agree, I marathoned the series last year and it feels its length at the slower parts.

It certainly tries, too. But, important characters frequently survive fatal injuries so it feels contrived when they finally do die. Which is a shame, I generally like stories better when they kill off some of the characters.

Yup, and for something that was allegedly planned out for years, it felt really rushed.

Obviosuly. It is just that his endings are one of the most glaring issues. To the point that even people able to stomach Bendis' other problems bitch about the endings.

Kirkman jokes about mainstream comics, but all really good things in his own come from mainsream. His own ideas not so good IMO.

No one who die was not important for plot any more. And all deads was for Main Character development. Well, exept from Battle Beast.

When comic creators responsible for a long running series say that, they are usually full of shit. They only plan a portion of it. Likely because they do not want to risk planning things too far and waste that effort in case book gets cancelled. Once they go beyond, preplanned portion, things start falling apart and story gets worse. That started to happen to The Walking Dead shortly after the prison arc. Now Kirkman is just treading the water while coasting on the TV series' popularity.

Honestly I jumped off of Invincible after Kirkman destroyed his relationship with Amber. I liked Amber and I thought it was nice giving Mark a girlfriend who grounds him and never really found Eve all that interesting, plus hooking them up just felt cliche.
I think right afterwards was where Kirkman had the Lizard League kill off most of the Global Guardians and the entire formula just became really tiresome and I noped out.
