Alright, I'm back. The movie was ok. Had some really nice sound effects in certain parts, good animation at times too. I think it could have benefitted from more frames of animation in some slower parts. The movie features very cleverly disguised 3D animation in scenes where they could get away with it, with one exeption. Soundtrack fits the movie at least. Some out of place anti-nazi imagery (a nazi with a pet cobra lives next to the main character, and some luchadores punching Hitler in one scene), but I shouldn't be surprised, it's written by a frenchman after all. The movie sticks to one style for the most part. The english voices lack a little something, but the first conversation between Angelino (the black round one) and Vinz (inferno cop's midget cousin) is really good and sounded very natural at first. Luna, the girl, however, was really weak.
It's a decent flick, and the animation is alright. The move is based on the comic by the same name, and the writer was major part of the movie. Honestly, I had hoped for more crazy stuff. Grab some friends and some light snack, and the movie will fill in about one and a half hour of your time. I mean, it's right there, so no need to pay for anything.
