He made 2000AD, Judge Dredd was also the direct inspirstion for Robocop.

If anyone wants to see a good adaption, watch 'Dredd', not the Stallone crapfest joke of a film.

One of the best comic artists period, glad I got hold on an early print of Apocalypse War and a few progs from the Cursed Earth arc
