Watchmen probably had the best trailer of all time. Why aren't people hiring Snyder to make music videos? His visuals are unrivaled.

I still enjoy his movies even if they aren't perfect. Visually they're always a treat and visuals are the main reason I see movies instead of just reading novels.

The teaser, yes. The other trailers, sadly, are just a bunch of action scenes put together to generic music. I'm sure that's why Guardians and Iron Man worked so well - those movies had actual music.

I imagine it's hard to advertise the same movie over and over and over again while pretending it's not the exact same thing. Marvel movies have zero aesthetics as well.

You could make them seem like they have. Thor Ragnarok managed that.

You could have made Infinity War's trailer melancolic and more about Thanos for example. Or the Cpt America movies like political thrillers. But they don't seem to care.

But for some reason, Disney trailers just work. I find them all shitty and the CGI cartoon movie trailers misleading (they always focus on stupid comedy, then it turns out the movie isn't at all about the fun), but for some reason they work better than Dreamwork's "honest" trailers.

It was shit, but just a different flavor that most other Marvel movies.

Comedy in it had too much juvenile humor with no thought put into it. You have to be a retard to laugh at things like alien shitting/laying eggs or portal being named Devil's Anus just when they are shoved into your face without any sort of a setup. Not to mention the 'slapstick humor' which is just people tripping, fumbling, and or get smacked in the face.

Story was also kind of lackluster. The worst part of it was Valkyrie. If she was the one to sacrifice herself in fight against Hela to make up for leaving her sisters to die in the past, it would nicely complete her character arc. Instead her story just fizzles out instead with her just tossing some mooks around. Instead, we get Karl Urban the best character in the movie just 'buying time' by leaving the ship to shoot at copy pasted minions. This was pretty pointless, since he could simply keep shooting from ship's door, keeping minions at bay, and accomplishing the same thing but without dying. Banner's thing was pretty stupid too. 'Oh no, I can't turn back into Hulk, except I actually can when I need to.'

Kirby inspired costumes and set design, and decent Thor vs Hulk fight was all that the movie had going for it.

While I said I think he's the worst character, he has the coolest settings (underwater movies/ games - highly underrated) and the coolest villains, since he always fights sea monsters and stuff.

The part from the trailer, where Angel breaks out and stretches his wing, then jumps out of the window… thats the ONLY good scene in the whole friggin movie.
