The Aquabats have launched a kickstarter to make new episodes of THE AQUABATS! SUPER SHOW!

Its nice to see them doing things independently, though their newer stuff is a little too sugar coated. Its a shame they didn't go the sentai route like they planned with Aquabats in Color, and the amount of time they neglected their own youtube channel is disappointing.

Anon the Aquabats were never on Newgrounds, most of their success came from touring as a ska ground in the late 90's. As well as co-producing a couple successful kids show for Nick and abc while networking with celebrities (and other countries like Japan). For over a decade they tried getting their own show based on their musical performances, but due to finical bluffs and getting screwed over by the mouse they couldn't (Hell the entire "Aquabats vs The Flying eye of Death" was nothing more than a cover to fund two pilots). It wasn't until the Hub came along that they finally got their chance only for it to crash and burn once the Hub ended.
