oh, i thought you meant you missed the last decade of planetary, since that's how long it took him to get the last few issues published. no, it's the same "write three issues, stall for years, rush something out" as usual. I'm sure The Wild Storm will peter out as well – it already is an exercise in extremely uncompressed storytelling. twelve issues in and they're almost ready for something to happen.
