>Be Matt and Trey
>End up hating Garrison since he turned back into a man and think he's just a tired one joke character
>Make him into a background character whilst other teachers like Mackey, Victoria and even fucking Mr.Adler have had more time in the limelight.
>Never let Garrison have any line in the few episodes before SoT that takes place in school like the bullying ep or the second Lemiwinks ep
>Wanted to finally kill him off in the original draft of SoT but had to change the plot of the game due to time limit
>Is back to a prop again until season 19 where we can finally write him out by making him into a Trump stand in and replace him with a bland Asian teacher
>Think that Trump won't win the primaries so we won't have to see Garrison again
>Trump wins the primaries so Matt and Trey have to write about a character that they hate in their first seasonal arch that they planned out since after finishing season 19
>Expect Trump not win the election so they just write about how Clinton is going to force men into slavery whilst Garrison can return to school, realise that everyone hates him and he can end up killing himself.
>Matt and Trey cheer as they can finally kill of a character that they both have hated since season 13
>Uh oh Trump becomes president and fucks up Matt and Trey plans
>This has added more fuel into the firey hatred they have for Garrison
>Matt and Trey promise not to do any more Trump episodes because they say "it's a joke done to much" but let's be real it''s because they have to use a character that they hate
>Comedy central forces them to write Trump episodes.
>This pain Matt and Trey so much that they plan on killing by the end of the season
>Comedy central tells them that they can't make a joke about killing the president
>Now Matt and Trey are stuck with a character that they hate for the next couple of years
What are some other good examples with writers fucking themselves over like this?
