Did you called your local congresswoman, about banning those horrible skeleton remotes, that are sold without any background checks and turn all the buyers into paranoid maniacs who use it on each other, in their panic attacks?

Did they really rip off the monorail episode?

 No.1002027

>>1002021

Yes

and it's also a gun control propaganda episode

>>1002021

Pretty much. The whole idea is to teach kids about the power they have about people to say whatever they want to elected officials. It's pretty much worked.

monoraaaaaail

 No.1002167

It's awful because this cartoon is inferior in every way, including the animation and writing budget, so any reference they make seems crude and desperate.

Well, sort of. David Hogg, Emma Gonzalez and all the other crisis actors with punchable faces certainly are putting the image out their of children rebelling against their gun loving redneck parents.

The problem with an episode like this is the message will go right over the average child's head, without fail. The only way kids get this stuff is if they go online to talk to adults who watch the show and have the subtext explained to them in detail, ala the literal degenerates in the SU fandom. Kids simply can't comprehend subtleties and nuance.

Another problem is that Gen Z is an incredibly conservative generation by and large, made up entirely of kids who grew up on PewDiePie and Rekt Feminism videos. So any of the kids who got the message instantly rejected it.

>Hogg

Is anyone else bothered by the fact that he looks like a 9 year old faggot but has the deep voice of a movie villain?

Superhero shows with antigun messages are retarded, the whole premise of superheroes is vigilante justice.

But the Monorail episode was itself an homage to an old musical called The Music Man, about a travelling con-artist.

Why would you bump a thread that's well over a month old when you have nothing new to add to it? Sometimes you just gotta let threads die.
