I'm going full digital.

How do you read digital comics? Phone? Tablet? Notebook? What size is optimal? I've been looking to buy an 8" or 10", not sure what is better overall in terms of weight/comfort/quality.

We have a perfectly fine share thread you can use, my little newfag.

Why go full digital? I get that the media can't be destroyed but for me it's just not the same.

Save money. I just read 600$ worth of comics this week for free.

Save space. My apartment is small and I travel a lot. I don't want to lug around boxes and boxes of comics whenever I move or leave for extended periods.

Ads, I absolutely hate seeing ads in my comics.

I have no "collectors" mentality, I'm not a collector. I'm a reader, I enjoy the stories, the art, the characters. I have no interest in hording objects anymore. I did as a kid, but now I don't. I'm trying to be a minimalist.

I'm at work or school for 10hours a day, in my downtime it's easy to read digital. I can take gigabytes of comics with me wherever I go.

Digital comics look great, the resolutions now are perfect; they don't break, don't get damaged and are easy to replace.

And many more reasons like this.

I was asked why I would go full digital and gave a thought out response.

I was genuinely curious so I asked him a question.

Anon you shouldn't give a shit about the feelings of an autist, if you think a thread is shit or are making an off topic or blogpost, then you should sage.

>Anon, we get that you're a lonely pathetic piece of shit working a dead end job with no prospects in life, but finding an excuse to write your shitty life on an imageboard is kinda redundant when the main question was about which device would be optimal for comic reading, not how much you work.

This has to be projection. What a weird outburst.

so I got a nice Huawei 8" tablet, I think it's great.

10" is just a bit too big/heavy.

Personally I can read on anything, most of my comics are on a generic tablet I use for studying but sometimes I read on my phone. Though due to the phone's small screen I have to rotate it 90 degrees when reading, so the width of the comic page fills the whole height of the phone… I guess the optimal size for a tablet screen would be the size of an A4 paper (to fit the whole page) but you could go for much smaller and still be comfortable.

Desktop with second monitor that can rotate. I read comics at slightly larger than real life and it's awesome.

Make sure 2nd monitor is rotated for potrait mode
