I was bored and had nothing better to do, so I watched all of this and now I want to share my misery with you. I know, I know. Netflix. Wasn't my account. I don't pay for this shit.
>group of kids wake up in a bunker with amnesia
>they solve a puzzle and get out into a forest, escaping mysterious green gas
>turns out they have some super powers
>sets itself up as a kid-friendly version of lost and tries to sell you on the vague implications that something else is going on here
>just as they are about to be attacked by monster dogs, a weird purple guy shows up and has them beg for help, then teleports them away
>they encounter minotaurs, witches, the four horsemen of the apocalypse, a talking tree, demon monks, a random carnival, some spider people, and some other dumb shit
>They encounter another trio of kids who also have super powers, but run off
>they meet those kids again later and they turn out to be dicks
>some shit happens and it turns out the whole thing is a video game
>they have to get the magic stick and beat a dragon to get out
>the twist within a twist is that it's a gameshow where teams of 3 pick special powers, get amnesia, and have to work together to get out of the game
>also, the final 5 minutes of the show are filmed in live action
>for some reason, the other team knows this and has a full understanding that they are competing to win, but it's never explained why
>the twist within a twits within a twist is that the girl from other team displays some video gamey glitch effect in one of her eyes. Not explained.
>the end
Don't waste your fucking time watching this. They do the bare minimum to make you think something interesting will happen, but it doesn't. It's just a lot of really awful character writing smashed against a lot of really awful worldbuilding and mystery. Clearly, the mystery aspect was intentional, because it's even less worth watching without the subtle implications of strange experiments and possible post-apocalyptic themes.
