The takeoff around 1830 was the only unusual thing I saw/heard. It was a large ac takeoff sound.
We arrived around 1300, pilot announced during taxi that power was out and we parked. I did nap for an hour or two and might have missed other takeoffs.
Cell coverage was horrible. I was sending text updates to family and trying to lurk here but signal was horrible and pages would take forever to load/timeout.
When we finally got word that power was partially restored to Terminal F, we taxied over and I took this picture from y seat. You can see the lights in the terminal but the control tower windows appear dark; could be normal or not. Pic related taken at 1944 ATL time.

I mentioned blackout, which it was. That airport is one of the busiest in the country, and only a very limited few departed if you check flight history yesterday. The destinations are interesting as have been well documented here and on twatter by @scottanthonyusa. This plane to Belgium stood out though due to departure time and destination.
