Win2K has a unique ability where you can manually 'patch' running folders so games/apps can load local .dll's in their directories, overriding the OS settings.
That, and you can still pull up your command prompt and run shit in DOS :p
I had no problems running F:NV on Win2K, just needed a little slap on the bum you know. And, even then at the time I was still on a 2.4ghz with a 1gb Radeon 5450HD

as a level five bard you can have 3 cantrips. 4 level 1 spells. 3 level 2 spells and 2 level 3 spells. however the total amount of spells you can have at this level is 8.
you should deside what spells your bard should have base on what your party is like and what sort of character you want to play as. so typically something like Prestidigitation is always picked because bards tend to like to put on a show for people and that spell goes the extra mile.
my gnome bard I played some time ago had.Prestidigitation. Vicious Mockery. Thunderwave. Healing Word and Faerie Fire. before the DM shit-canned it all but anyways I gave him those skills because I wanted to be useful at a distance while also protective of him self as he was squish as fuck.
